Onder is the simplest way to manage and book home maintenance jobs for homeowners looking for an easier experience. Onder automatically matches homeowners with vetted contractors best-suited to handle each job. It features transparent booking, payments, and management all in one place.

The Brand

We worked with Onder to create their updated brand identity. While creating a more modern and approachable brand, there was a strong focus on making the brand warm, trusting, and with a feeling of ease. These are all characteristics that would carry into their product and customer experience.

Dashboard
For the home-owner, we wanted to design the dashboard in a way that gives users everything they need for their home management with the click of a button. The simplified UI/UX provides the convenience of having one place for all their home information. Users are easily able to add properties, see their notifications, and make a request straight from the dashboard.
Maintenance booking flow
The “Request Maintenance” flow was the core to Onder’s platform. We wanted to build an experience that would be as streamlined as possible for the home-owner. They can simply add notes to describe their issue, specify the urgency, and upload any supporting documents. They can choose a provider to help solve their home issues, with a flexible visual profile and booking experience.
Payments made easy
The invoicing experience on the Onder platform was designed to be intuitive and organized. Secure payments are facilitated directly in the app and invoices can be monitored at any time as the customer needs it.

The results

Throughout this engagement, we re-designed Onder’s brand identity, designed the user interface and developed their MVP on Bubble to help them raise additional funding, which brought more users to the platform. Onder currently covers 50 homes across many communities in Seattle with the goal of growing to 250 by the end of 2023.
