Background
One of the biggest challenges was building clear workflows for three unique user types. Designers, Printers, and Admins, each requiring distinct permissions and interfaces. Integrating Meshy to generate production-ready 3D models from text prompts added technical complexity, especially with iterative refinement. Coordinating quoting, feedback, and printed-model reviews between Designers and Printers also demanded a smooth, reliable flow that stayed simple despite handling layered data and multiple tools.

Outcome
The final product is a smart, end-to-end platform that empowers creators to turn ideas into printable 3D models in minutes. Designers can generate models with AI, refine them through follow-up prompts, and send print requests directly to Printers who provide quotes and feedback inside the platform. After receiving their printed models, Designers can leave reviews, manage subscriptions, and even publish their designs into the RocketShip Amazon store. With seamless integrations and intuitive workflows, RocketShip transforms 3D creation into a simple, scalable process for makers at any level.
