Background
The Cordi team came to us with a clear goal: to simplify how R&D organizations manage projects that often involve multi-disciplinary teams and evolving requirements. They wanted a single platform that could replace the mess of spreadsheets, shared drives, and disconnected tools that teams relied on to track progress and communicate. Our challenge was to transform that vision into a flexible, user-friendly web app that keeps even the most technical projects running smoothly.
Challenges
Building a system that could meet the demands of R&D teams meant tackling multiple layers of complexity from risk management to collaboration and access control. The platform needed to empower both project leaders and team members without overwhelming them. Every detail from task assignment logic to permissions and progress tracking had to feel intuitive. For us, the real challenge was distilling enterprise-level capability into a clean experience that anyone on the team could use from day one.
Outcome
The result was Cordi, a modern web platform that helps R&D teams stay aligned, organized, and efficient. Project leads can manage experiments, assign tasks, and track outcomes, while team members get a clear view of what’s next. With Microsoft sign-in for seamless onboarding, Stripe integration for subscriptions, and a responsive interface built for everyday usability, Cordi brings structure and flow to even the most complex projects. For founders, it’s a case study to how the right design and technology can turn a complex process into a product people actually want to use.
